been in concrete pipe sales ever since with two Florida based manufacturers , County Materials Corporation from 2011 to present and Rinker Materials prior to that . In 2019 , I was offered an opportunity to further develop the Jacksonville market . Today we live in the North St Johns County area and we love it . I joined NUCA of Central Florida in 2003 and remain a member of their board . I joined NUCA of North Florida in 2019 . I ’ m have been an alternate board member for NUCA of Florida since 2019 .
What is your educational background ? BOLINGER : I have a BS in Integrated Studies ( Business and History ) from UCF .
What was your first job ? BOLINGER : At 16 , my Dad got me my first summer job working for a landscape company in Vero Beach . I laid a lot of sod that summer .
What are you currently reading ? BOLINGER : “ Where the Crawdads Sing ” by Delia Owens . It ’ s a murder mystery set in North Carolina with a female protagonist .
What is your favorite movie ? BOLINGER : I really like “ The Spirit of St Louis ” with Jimmy Stewart . I ’ ve watched it countless times since I was a kid . a high sense of urgency to the needs that are important to them . I ’ ve built some great relationships with this philosophy .
What is the first concert you attended ? BOLINGER : Van Halen 1984 - Lakeland Civic center . It was general admission ticket sales , so we got there early to get to the front row .
What is your favorite college or pro team ? BOLINGER : I ’ m a UCF Knight by degree , but I ’ m a Florida Gator by birth . My Dad is an alumnus from UF , and that ’ s just the way it is . GO GATORS ! My son is a senior at FSU , so I ’ ve been on my best behavior supporting him during his attendance , with the UF-FSU rivalry trash talk , but he graduates soon !
Campfire or fireplace ? BOLINGER : I love to camp . I still have all my equipment from when the kids were growing up . I did YMCA Indian Guides and Indian Princesses with both kids , 10 years each . Those are some of the best times of my life .
What was the first car you drove ? BOLINGER : My first car was a 1975 Datsun B210 , stick shift . My parents taught me how to drive it in the parking lot at Vero Beach High School .
What is your business philosophy ? BOLINGER : It ’ s simple . I make myself accessible to customers 24 / 7 , and I have
