President ’ s Message
NUCA of Florida Members , I ’ ll keep my last President ’ s message shorter and sweeter than usual ….
I want to start off by thanking our devoted members for their generosity and support . Without you , this industry association would not be what it is today . Your support and dedication has gotten us through “ The Great Recession ” and 2020 , and will continue to do so into the future . I am extremely grateful for you all .
The last two years have been as crazy as I can recall . We ’ ve had quite a few legislative wins ( ask Kari and Scott for a rundown ) and some great times while we were able to meet in-person . But we also had COVID . And being honest , that was enough craziness for a life time . Overall , I think we were pretty successful over the last two years . There is always room for improvement , and I think anybody that fills a role like this will always wish that they could have accomplished more , no matter how much was achieved . I know that I ’ m excited about our future and think that you should be too . We have a great group of leaders coming in behind me and we should be primed for a great few years .
