Can you briefly tell us about your
professional background?
KIVLIN: I started working on a crew
as a hillman in 2007. Over the past
11 years, I’ve worked my way up
to being a foreman, and now Vice
President of John Woody, Inc. I’ve
been serving on the Executive
Committee for NUCA of FL &
NUCA of N. FL since 2014 and I am
the current president of NUCA of N.
FL.

Why you are in the underground
utility business and how did you
get started?
KIVLIN: I needed a job, my father
in law needed help at John Woody,
and I started working as a hillman 1
week after I graduated.
What is your educational
background?
KIVLIN: Bachelors Degree in
Business with a focus on Human
Resources from Auburn University.
