to demonstrate academic excellence at the University of Michigan maintaining a 3.89 GPA . In 2021 , he won the William J . Branstorm Freshman Prize for being in the top 5 percent of the freshman class and the next year he was a finalist in the Citi M & A Case Competition . In 2022 , he was also a finalist in the Alternative Investments Club Private Equity Competition and was recognized as the Most Excellent Student in Business Law ( 2021 ).
In addition to managing a demanding academic curriculum , Michael excels in leadership positions with extracurricular college activities including Michigan Investment Banking Club , where he was elected to the Executive Board and the Alternative Investments Club , serving in both from 2021-2023 . Additionally , last fall , he hosted a concert bringing musical artist Tee Grizzley to the University of Michigan campus , raising more than $ 40K of revenue .
In order to build on his academic prowess , Michael has been interning the last three years during the summer months , working as an analyst with Evercore Incoming Investment Banking , I Squared Capital Infrastructure Private Equity and Lincoln Road Global Management . He also worked with All County Paving as a business development intern upon graduation from high school .
Apart from his studies , Michael is an avid cook and baker , a huge fan of college football , especially the Michigan Wolverines and Oklahoma Sooners , enjoys playing golf and tutors both high school and college students .
