Get To Know YOUR GOVERNMENT LEADERSHIP
Q&A
WITH
REPRESENTATIVE
JENNIFER WEBB
Briefly tell us about your
professional background.
Webb: Workforce and economic
development is the arena in which
I work. In the past I helped unemployed
and under-employed
people get jobs and attracted
businesses to town to put these
people to work. These days, I help
build individual businesses so
they can get a brick-and-mortar
presence in our community and/
or hire additional workers. As a
legislator, I have made sure that we
are investing in our infrastructure
and developing our workforce so
we can keep the industries we
have, help them grow, and attract
new ones. I am committed to a
pandemic recovery plan that will
positively impact the pockets of our
families and our businesses on Main
Street. Targeted investments to our
infrastructure will also help employ
people and shore up our business
and the state’s foundation.
What is your educational
background?
Webb: Louisiana State University,
BA, History, BA Anthropology,
summa cum laude, 2003; University
of South Florida, MA, Applied
Anthropology, 2015
