President ’ s Message
Hi everyone ! I hope this holiday season finds you all safe and well ! Thank you again to all our sponsors and Covid-19 Relief donors . We would not be here without you , and I am grateful for your kindness and generosity .
It has been a while since I have last written to you all , and a lot of stuff has happened . One big thing that we were not sure was going to happen is we finally got to meet in person again at our Presidents Cup event ! The Carlton Fields team and the golf tournament committee put on a great event this year , and it was remarkably successful ! Thank you again to participants and sponsors .
Onto the next big thing , the 2020 election . While the Presidential election may not have turned out the way a lot of us wanted , here in the state of Florida , all but 2 candidates out of 75 that were supported by NUCA of FL won their respected races . That ’ s pretty impressive . Kari and Scott did a great job in this unprecedented political environment to keep us working and support the politicians who wanted to do the same . If you have some concerns or problems that need to be addressed for this upcoming legislative session , be sure to reach out to them and let them know . We can ’ t help if we don ’ t know what problems are out there .
I know that this Christmas / Holiday season will be unlike any other that we ’ ve ever experienced . I hope you all stay safe and healthy . Try to enjoy your life to the best of your abilities or whatever you are comfortable with . We all could use a little break this year . Merry Christmas ! Happy Holidays ! And here ’ s to hoping that 2021 isn ’ t quite the wild ride that 2020 put us through !
