was an educational exchange
between our underground utility
contractors and Sen. Pizzo who
also found time to meet separately
with the South Florida members
to discuss the legislation of
importance to our industry. The
remainder of the day was spent
“walking the halls” of the Capitol
educating lawmakers on the
underground utility industry and
our position on the impactful bills
moving through the legislative
process.
We appreciate those that took time
away from their day-to-day duties
to travel to Tallahassee for NUCA
of Florida’s Legislative Days event
and help lobby for our industry. It
truly does make a difference when
lawmakers see the folks from back
home. It is also important to note
that we couldn’t host Legislative
Days without the generosity of our
