� OSHA standards and why they are important
� OSHA 1926 subpart AA Confined spaces in construction
� The hazards associated with a Confined Space ; how to identify such hazards and control those hazards such as atmospheric hazards , configuration and engulfment dangers
� Understand the scope & application of OSHA ’ s confined space entry standards and definitions
� Identify “ Confined Spaces ”, determine if they are “ Permit Required ”
� Understand OSHA requirements for developing and maintaining a “ permitrequired confined space entry program ”
� Know responsibilities of entrants , attendants , entry supervisors , contractors and host employers
� Identify when you may utilize OSHA ’ s “ Alternate Entry ” and “ Reclassification ” procedures
� Understand the requirements for “ Rescue & Emergency Services ”
� Have a basic knowledge of the general use and limitations of related equipment
� Hazardous atmosphere solutions
