Briefly tell us about your professional background . Daley : I was elected unopposed to the Florida House of Representatives in February of 2019 and was reelected in 2020 . Previously , I was elected to the Coral Springs City Commission in November 2012 , reelected unopposed in 2014 , and was named Vice Mayor in November 2015 . I am a member of the Florida Bar and I am the Corporate Counsel to 13th Floor Homes .

What inspired you to accept this leadership position ? Daley : I had the opportunity to work in public service at a young age as an intern and then fulltime legislative aide to then-State Representative Ari Abraham Porth . At the age of 19 , I was working on policy that impacted people across our state and it led to me “ catching the bug ,” and wanting to serve in different and more challenging ways .
What is your educational background ? Daley : I am a graduate of Florida State University , with Cum Laude Honors with a bachelor ’ s degree in Political Science and Criminology . I am the first in my family to graduate from college . I have also graduated from Nova Southeastern University ’ s Shepard Broad College of Law with a Juris Doctorate .
