Over Culvert Repairs
Client: US Army Corps of Engineers
Contractor: Shenandoah
Construction
Shenandoah Construction under
contract with the US Army Corps
of Engineers Jacksonville District
for the rehabilitation of ten (10) 72”
diameter pipe culverts totaling 1,228
feet, located in Vero Beach, FL in the
St. John’s Basin water district. The
culverts were slip lined with 63” HDPE
solid wall pipe with heat fused joints.
In addition, helical piles were installed
along with Stainless Steel tie-down’s
for anchoring, New Aluminum 63”
diameter flap gates and other site
modifications were completed as part
of this contract.
Shenandoah is currently tracking to
complete this project 4-months ahead
of schedule.
