BRIEFLY TELL US ABOUT YOUR
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND.
I received my under graduate degree
from Auburn University and my law
degree from Emory University. I grew
up in the construction industry as my
family owned an electrical contracting
business and developed a number of
properties in central Florida. I have been
exclusively practicing construction law for
nearly 35 years. I was part of the first class
of attorneys in Florida to receive Board
Certification in Construction Law. I am rated
“AV” by Martindale-Hubbell, highest peer
rating available. Among other accolades, I

U. S. Court of Appeals, and the U. S.

so I have served as the General Counsel
to NUCA of Florida. I have a full time law
practice, but also make time to serve as a
mediator and as an arbitrator, but only on
construction disputes.
