President’s Message

Well guys, being that we are all Floridians, you know we don’t have a spring
season to speak of and summer is here even though the calendar says it’s
still a little ways off. I hope that you have been busy, business is good, and you
and your people are happy. Take a little time out of your day and spend a little
time one on one/you and the crews to see how things are in their world. We all
have a habit of staying pedal to the metal as we should, but sometimes you need
to slow down and make it a point to get to know your people, you may find some
cool things about them you never knew or would have expected.
In that same thought, get to know your fellow members in the same way. Reach
out to some of them that you see at the meetings and gatherings, but haven’t
really spent much time with. It could probably help you and your company as well
as them! You might find a new sub, supplier, or a client.
With the summer (per the calendar) approaching, make sure you are registered
for the annual meeting in Clearwater. The rooms are filling up fast, and we would
love to see you there! This will be a little different than the past few years and a
little more like the past as this is a “more central” venue where everyone will be
able to gather at the same pool, restaurant, and bar. I hope to see you all there!
