■ ■ Expanding the definition of “disadvantaged workers” to include person with criminal record, homeless, veteran, received public assistance for 12 consecutive months, single parent home, etc., and requirement for contractor to provide weekly reports; ■ ■ Increasing to 15% of required “disadvantaged workers” on jobsite from current 10%; ■ ■ City to track “disadvantaged workers” percentages monthly and address issues as they arise to discuss with Contractors not staying compliant; ■ ■ New SBE goal of 14%, actual is 5% currently; ■ ■ Amendment to define “good faith effort” in detail. ■ ■  A good faith effort: job advertisement, proof of workforce program, proof that there isn’t an apprenticeship program, proof of progress creating and/or searching for program (outreach, emails, correspondence).  ■ ■ Living wage to remain at $13 in St. Pete, if Davis Bacon (prevailing wage for each craft or trade).
