Thank you so much for awarding me the Andrew
Scott Johnson Memorial Scholarship. I am proud to
represent the foundation’s commitment to education.
This award is really a great honor for me to receive
and your support of my educational pursuits means
so much to both my family and myself.
This fall I will attend the George Washington Uni-
versity in our nation’s capital where I will study a
pre-medicine track in the Milken School of Public
Health. The University selected me for member-
ship in the Women’s Leadership Program and as a
Corcoran Scholar of Dance. This is a momentous
time of my life and I plan to take advantage of every
opportunity. I will continue to pursue a path of lead-
ership and community service throughout my col-
lege experience. My goal is to become a doctor who
will support those in need of medical education and
healthcare. To have a career in which passion and
purpose intersect would be the definition of success
for me.
