4. Grill master or reservations?
JOHNSON: My wife, Robin, says
that I burn everything, so I guess it
is reservations!
5. What is your business
philosophy?
JOHNSON: Being old fashioned,
I believe in customer satisfaction,
loyalty, and straightforward
business dealings. A manager’s
job is to mentor and train the
generation that will succeed them.
My agenda takes a backseat to all
of my employees. I am all-in all the
time.
9. Campfire or fireplace?
JOHNSON: I am a fireplace type of
guy. Camping not so much!
10. What was the first car you
drove?
JOHNSON: My first car was a 1966
VW bug complete with surf racks.
6.. What are your hobbies or
interests outside of work?
JOHNSON: I enjoy inshore fishing
in the tidal estuaries of Palm Beach
and Martin Counties. I love it, but
“can’t give up the day job”.
7.. Do you have any pets?
JOHNSON: Robin and I have a
nine month old yellow lab, golden
retriever mix named Gracie. She is
a good girl!
8. What is the first concert you
attended?
JOHNSON: I believe it was Bruce
Springsteen who played at Bucknell
when I was a junior. He came to the
fraternity house after the concert for
a couple of beers.
