MISD NAMES NEW SPELLING BEE CHAMPION
Robert Fisher from Mary Orr Intermediate School won the 2023 Mansfield ISD Spelling Bee . He out spelled 37 other students to take home the top prize .

MORE THAN 400 ATHLETES VOLUNTEER DURING SERVICE DAY
For the third year in a row , more than 400 athletes volunteered at campuses and mission centers as part of the Athletic Department ' s Annual Day of Service . Athletes comprised all five comprehensive high schools .
Two teachers were named the 2022-23 Teachers of the Year . Kristen Hendrix , the librarian at Annette Perry Elementary School , was selected Elementary Teacher of the Year . Jordan Rucker , an English Language Arts and Reading teacher at Charlene McKinzey Middle School , was named Secondary Teacher of the Year .
