CHAMP RECLAIMS TITLE
T.A. Howard Middle School’s
Kailey Choi won her first
district spelling bee in third
grade, the youngest to win it
in MISD. She reclaimed her
title in 2018 as an eighth-
grader, her last year of
eligibility.
