PLACEMENT Classes
Mansfield ISD offers 34 college-
level advanced placement
(AP) courses for high school
students. Students who receive a
qualifying score on an AP exam
can earn college credit hours
before graduation. In 2018, MISD
students passed a total of 2,206
AP exams. Students can get a
jumpstart in advanced courses by
taking one of MISD’s more than
25 pre-AP courses in as early as
the fifth grade.

College credit can also be earned through our
dual credit partnership with the Tarrant County
College District. MISD has strong partnerships
with the University of Texas at Arlington, the
University of North Texas, Texas Wesleyan
University and Prairie View A&M University that
give eligible MISD students scholarships and
automatic admission.
