D espite the growing attack against public
Aside from academics, Mansfield ISD
excels in fine arts, athletics and many other
extracurricular activities. The community
also has a heart for helping others and
coming together for the greater good.

continue to excel! Through the pages of this booklet, you
will see all the different reasons why I feel
blessed to be a Mansfield ISD resident and
servant leader.
There are so many positive things about
public education that need to be shared
to dispel the rumors and highlight the
successes happening in public schools. I am a proud Texas educator, and I firmly
believe that Texas public schools are the
clear choice for education.
For example, Mansfield ISD has earned an
“A” rating in the Texas Education Agency’s
(TEA) new accountability rating system.
In addition, Mansfield ISD’s test scores
surpass state and regional averages.
