Letter
When I began brain storming for the December Issue, I knew
I wanted it to be big, possibly the biggest issue we have had. I knew
I wanted an amazing cover girl and that we would be doing another
LookBook.
But I had no idea it would be this good. Our cover girl turned out
to be Carly Heitlinger of The College Prepster, a blog that I have read
for years. The blog is turning six years old this December and she gives
District some insight into how it got started and some of her favorite
holiday things.
Our holiday LookBook is filled with ideas of what to wear to parties,
dinners, or whatever you may have on your social calendar come this
December. Our models are from the University of Texas at Austin and
were awesome to work with.
District’s pages also include gift guides for every important person
in your life, an op-ed on why December is the most magical time of year,
and the classic holiday movies/songs we all love.
December marks Lady Bird Johnson’s 102nd birthday, so check out
our feature on her and the guide to surviving Christmas with the in-laws.
