Boo at the Zoo
October 24-26, Smithsonian National Zoological Park
5:30 - 8:30 pm, Tickets: $30
Boo at the Zoo is Washington DC’s favorite Halloween treat. With more than
40 not-so-spooky treat stations, animal demonstrations, keeper chats, and
decorated trails, this event is frightfully fun for the whole family. With traditional
chocolates, as well as good for you snacks, souvenirs, and other items, thousands
of Boo treat bags will be brimming with goodies at the end of the evening.
Washington International Horse Show
October 21-26, Two (2) Performances Daily, except Sunday
Day: (Tues-Sat): 7 am - 5 pm, Evening (Tues-Sat): 7-10:30 pm, Sun: 7 am - 4 pm
Tickets: Daytime $15 Evening $20 VIP $40
The Washington International Horse Show is a championship event with
approximately 600 horses and riders competing for more than $480,000 in
prize money and championship titles. Highlights of the event include show
jumpers, dancing dressage horses, classic equitation, picture-perfect hunters,
action-packed barrel races and humorous terrier races.
Washington Craft Show 2014
October 31 - November 2, Washington Convention Center
Fri: 10 am - 8 pm, Sat: 10 am - 6 pm, Sun: 11 am - 5 pm
Tickets: Adults $15, Seniors $14, Children 12 and under are Free.
After 6 pm on Friday, tickets are $6.
