Tucked away in Cady’s Alley, an oasis for upscale and
contemporary design within Georgetown, Deborah
Kalkstein owns and operates her own designer furniture,
architecture and home décor store, Contemporaria.
eborah Kalkstein was raised and educated in Peru.

in his office doing all the interior work. Therefore, after graduation
from the Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, she looked for a way
to combine her love for furniture, interiors, and architecture. A store
