as a WashinGTon ResiDenT for
the past 37 years, i have been privileged to
spend the last 15 of those in Crestwood. it has
been an honor to work with superb architects
and skilled craftsmen in the restoration of our
spanish Colonial Revival residence built in
1926. having a large lot gave us the opportunity
to create this pavilion, allowing us to enjoy our
garden in all seasons. it also gave us the chance
to engage in a creative endeavor that was the
product of experiencing residential architecture
throughout the United states and the world.
Crestwood is a neighborhood, like many of those i represent—including sixteenth street
heights, shepherd Park, Colonial Village, Brightwood, Petworth, and Takoma—which
offers large single-family houses on attractive, well-landscaped lots. These suburban-style
neighborhoods, in one of the most diverse wards of the city, are a great value for those
wishing to move into more commodious arrangements. having enough space for all of
life’s activities is my definition of luxury.
i look forward to showing you these exceptional and charming neighborhoods…
a chance for you to create a lifestyle suited to your own interests and sensibilities.
