The parent/guardian must notify the building principal in writing within 10 days of the start of the school year if no pictures should be taken of his or her child for publicity purposes. The Teaneck Public School District is sponsoring a Child Find public awareness campaign to locate and provide ser- vices for unserved/underserved youth, including migrant and homeless children, with a delay or disability from 3 through 21 years of age. Children may exhibit physical, mental, lan- guage or emotional difficulties. Our local district’s Child Study Team provides screening, evaluation, guidance ser- vices and, if a child is found eligible, educational programs. These are provided free for those who need services. *May 11, 2018 is the date NJDOE must receive appeals for students who will be graduating and expect to walk with their peers in the Summer of 2018, and who need to know the outcome of their appeal in order to take part in their school’s graduation ceremony.
