EPIC SUMMER grades

EPIC Summer is a program for middle school students( entering grades 6 – 8 in the fall) that encourages leadership, making a difference through service learning and positive social interaction. Field trips and swimming activities are included! Register for the week that best fits your interest and your family’ s schedule, choose a few weeks, or join us for the whole summer!

Planet Earth June 18 – 22
Start out your summer with a deep dive into the amazing world of animals. Take a close look at the animals lurking on the jungle floor, the bioluminescent creatures of the deep, and how their ability to adapt influences our urban world. Field Trips: Minnesota Zoo & Chutes and Ladders Park

Sauteeing Summer June 25 – 29
Fire up the grill, and get ready to show your family how it’ s done. Pick fresh vegetables and turn them into a salsa, create a summer dessert, and squeeze fresh juice. This week will be all about fresh food, and mastering our culinary skills! Field Trip: Sun Ray Lanes & Cascade Bay Waterpark week

Fourth of July Week July 2 – 6
We will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The rest of the week we will be observing some pretty cool activities, such as inflatable water slides!

10,000 Wonders July 9 – 13
Have you ever stopped to think about all of the things that make Minnesota unique? Join us as we learn about everything the great bold north has to offer from our 10,000 lakes, to our amazing sports teams, to the hidden treasures right outside our back door.

Keeping an Ion Summer July 16 – 20
Awesome puns aside, join us as we learn about all of the amazing things science has to offer. We will learn about chemical reactions, how to grow your own food, robots, and other amazing messy experiments you are not allowed to do at home!
