Defensive Driving Basic Course – 8-hours
Review the rules of the road , learn new information regarding today ’ s cars , and update your driving skills . Those over 55 qualify for a 10 percent discount on their auto insurance after completing this 8-hour basic course . This course is a live online presentation offered in two four-hour sessions . You must attend both sessions to qualify for the discount . You will come in person to watch the presentation on a large screen ( AEDDB1Glad ), or you can have the option to watch from your home ( AEDDB1Zoom ). A 4-hour refresher course is required every three years after the initial 8-hour course . Register at least one week before the class date ; no walk-ins . If you are registering for the Zoom class ( AEDDB1Zoom ), please stop by Gladstone to pick up your required booklet . Minnesota Safety Council .
