CRADLE OF FILTH are one of the biggest bands in metal. For years the band have built a worthy
legacy and even now in the modern era of metal, CRADLE OF FITLH are as relevant now as they
were when they first roared onto the scene all those years ago. 2017 sees the arrival of a new album
from CRADLE OF FILTH and we have the band gracing this month’s cover of Distorted Sound as we
unearth what we can expect from the new opus with prolific frontman Dani Filth! August is always a
special month for us here at Distorted Sound. As festival season draws to a close we can reflect on
another year of attending some of the biggest rock and metal events in the UK alongside seeing some
of the best bands and catching up with our friends in the metal scene. One such festival, Bloodstock,
holds a special place in our hearts and this year, Distorted Sound’s coverage is absolutely massive.
From our enormous review of this year’s action and big features with COURTESANS, PROGNOSIS,
POSSESSED, LIONIZE, VENOM PRISON, OHHMS and more, there’s plenty of exciting metal to get
stuck into! It’s exciting to see how much this magazine grows each month but the scale of our content
from festival season this year has really blown us away and helped us see how quickly we are growing.
We would like to thank all you readers for supporting us over such a busy period, you are why we do
this and continue to push ourselves.
