Begin with a short bus tour of Fort Seward and downtown Haines, learning about the history from expert guides. After the tour, embark on a scenic drive past Lutak Inlet, where you may spot seals, sea lions, porpoises and whales feeding in these rich waters. At the end of the Lutak Inlet, you will enter the Chilkoot River Valley, which offers incredible wildlife viewing without the need to exit the bus. Situated among rugged glaciated peaks, it is home to numerous brown bears, mountain goats, salmon, river otters and bald eagles.
