The History of recycling
The World War Two encouraged rationing, recycling and reuse
(Waste Recycling, 2012.) The 1960’s ‘hippy era’ set about making
recycling a priority by engaging and challenging large corporations
to reduce their consumption levels, following through with legalisation in 1986 and 1990, to reduce the waste levels and pull back on
excessive packaging (Waste Recycling, 2012).
