Miguel Davidson( Flotsam) Miguel is thrilled to be celebrating his 10th year with Theatre Cedar Rapids! His TCR journey began back in 2016 when he first splashed onto the stage in The Little Mermaid. Since then, his love for theatre has only grown deeper, shaping him into a proud and well-rounded performer and dancer. Being part of the TCR family has brought Miguel endless joy over the past decade, and he’ s grateful to call this theatre his artistic home. Some of his recent credits include Jersey Boys, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, and Guys and Dolls. Miguel sends heartfelt thanks to his family, friends, and everyone who has supported him along the way. He hopes you enjoy the show— and after ten years that began under the sea, he’ s still happily splashing around on the TCR stage.
Westley Lindo Ellis( Flounder) Westley is honored to be back on the TCR stage! He has recently been in TCR’ s Fun Home( Christian Bechdel), Beauty & the Beast( Chip) and School of Rock( Lawrence Turner), RHCR Theatre’ s Beetlejuice Jr.( Ensemble), and Revival Theatre’ s HONK!( Beaky). When not on stage, Westley performs with McKinley’ s powerhouse show choir, Classic Edition, plays the keys with his School of Rock band, runs track and plays soccer. Westley is grateful to his big theatre family for their love and support.
Lauren Fenwick( Ursula) Lauren Fenwick is thrilled to be back on the stage at Theatre Cedar Rapids— this time causing a little mischief as Ursula! A senior at Coe College studying Vocal Music Education, Lauren is passionate about both performing and sharing her love of music with others. She feels incredibly lucky to bring this bold and iconic sea witch to life and is grateful to collaborate with such a talented cast, pit musicians, and creative team. When she’ s not on stage( or making magical bargains), Lauren enjoys continuing to grow as both a musician and future educator. She is especially thankful for the constant love and encouragement of her mom, sister, and best friend Michael, who cheer her on in every endeavor she pursues. She hopes you enjoy the show, and remember to read the fine print before making any deals under the sea!
Jeffrey Harrington( Scuttle) Jeffrey is ready to flap onto the TCR stage as a stupendable seagull with ridonkulously rare vocabulary. You may have seen him in Nigel Button in Something is Rotting, Frankie Velvet in Jersey’ s Boy, and Charlie Kringle in Mary, We Gull Along.
