A Night at the Oscars

Frozen wins big at the night of the Oscars 2014

On March 2nd, 2014 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Disney’s Frozen comes out big.

Frozen was nominated for The Best Animated Film Feature along with The Croods and Despicable Me 2. Fortunately, Frozen won the award and it was presented by Matthew McConaughey and Kim Novak.

Frozen was also nominated for Best Original Song for the song, “Let it Go”, (written and scored by Kristen- Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez). Other songs that were nominated for this award were “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, featured in Despicable Me 2 and “Ordinary Love” by U2 from the movie, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. And again, Frozen won the award and it was presented by Jessica Biel and Jamie Foxx.

Even though John Travolta accidentally mispronounced her name, Idina Menzel blew the audience away with a pleasant and beautiful rendition of the Oscar winnig "Let it Go", the original song she sang for the sound track. At the end of her stellar performance, she received a standing ovation from everyone at the Oscars.

In the end, the Frozen team did great at the Oscars and blew everyone away with the awards and performances.

We hope to see them again in the future, hopefully with the sequel to this amazing movie.
