In BODY WORLDS & The Cycle of Life, the latest exhibition from
physician and anatomist Dr. Gunther von Hagens, you’ll see the
inner workings of the body throughout the human life cycle.
Your students will explore more than 100 plastinates – real human
specimens preserved through the remarkable process called
Plastination – showing the complexity, resilience and vulnerability
of the human body in distress, disease and optimal health.

This powerful lesson on the form, function
and beauty of the human body includes:
- In depth look at all body systems
- Insights into the effects of aging and disease on these systems
- Understanding the impact of healthy lifestyle choices
Educator Guides and classroom activities are available.
