Discovery Place Education Studio is a professional development
program serving homeschool educators, pre K-12 teachers and
administrators from schools, museums, science centers, zoos
and aquariums.
Uniquely located adjacent to Discovery Place in uptown Charlotte,
the Education Studio provides ongoing and personalized opportunities
for educator development in science, technology, engineering and
math (STEM) with a goal of advancing student and teacher attitudes
and achievements.
Courses start at only $20 and include topics such as:
Engineering is Elementary: Designing Bridges
Technology Workshops
Classroom Gardening
Coastal Ecology Field Institute
Science of Art
