Workshops are multi-session programs focusing on a single science topic of your choice. Exciting
and educational, workshops allow a group to explore a topic in depth. Workshops in Explore More
Life allow inquiry-based learning about the life sciences while classes in Explore More Stuff allow
exploration of physics and chemistry; both in state-of-the art environments facilitated by experts.

Robotics
3D Drawing and Printing
Explore robotics from the
ground up. This workshop utilizes
LEGO robots to explore the
concepts of robot assembly,
simple motion programming,
utilization of sensors, loops and
switches and devising creative
solutions to complete a set of
robot challenges. (5.P.1.2, 7.P.1.1)
This workshop showcases
3D drawing freeware and
a rapid prototype machine
to explore concepts of 3D
drawing software basics,
alternate 3D drawing programs,
duplicating a real world object
through measurements,
3D printer function and
interface basics, and printing
3D objects. (6.P.3.3, 7.P.1.1)
Comparative Anatomy
with Dissections

Students will compare and
contrast their knowledge of
the human body to other
animals that inhabit Earth.
