As it drew closer to the time, one by one the participants, parents and guest and instructors were filling the room. I looked up and the room was filled with people. Every chair had a person sitting in it. You could feel the high energy in the room and the anticipation. I was extremely happy that the day was finally here, and I said to myself, “Show time.” I went to welcome everyone for coming and did the opening prayer and a few words of exhortation.

Afterwards, I explained what STEP UP was about and its history, introduced our instructors, speaker, and then we had lunch, which I must tell you was scrumptious and prepared by one of our board members, Connie Foster.

There were still students signing up, but these were the students and their parents who attended the orientation.

Our teachers for the second week were Bayo Ogunbiyi for Business Structures and Toni Coleman for Business Terms and Business Forms.

The president, Mr. Bayo Ogunbiyi presented but first when through a ice breaking exercise to get everyone motivated for orientation.

Apostle Connie Foster gave words of exhaltation to the class. Apostle Foster is also the Vice President of the organization.

Tim Horton's supplied refreshments for the orientation and mornings for the ten weeks that everyone enjoyed.
