BD Ministry International Outreach is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that was founded in 2015 by Ms. Bridgett D. Wright. In 2016, while attending an event, Ms. Wright was inspired after hearing Sophia Williams speak about her daughter who was murdered as a result of Human Trafficking. After hearing Ms. Williams’ story about her daughter, Ms. Wright began to research Human Trafficking and reached out to Ms. Edee Franklin, founder, and CEO of Sanctum House in Macomb Michigan.
For the past six years, our organization strives to combat the effects of human trafficking by supporting survivors and assisting them to regain power after exploitation. Our organization helps to develop recuperative relationships, care, stability, and skills for stability and skills for survivors and their families. To assist with the ability to know their self-worth for both personal and professional goals with love, respect, and non-judgment.
According to WILX in Lansing, Michigan, Michigan is ranked in the top 10 states for human trafficking.
