FINDING GOD’S WILL IN LIFE
Article by Pastor Philip Nissley,

With all the questions we have about life on a daily basis, Psalm 139:1-3, 16-18, 23- 24 are valuable readings because they are God’s Word to us! In “Discovering You”, it’s important to know that God has higher thoughts for you than you have! God says in Jer. 29:11, “I know the destiny that I have for YOU, declares the Lord, plans for welfare, not for calamity to give you a future and hope”. In “Discovering You”, God’s Will in Life must become your greatest goal!

Apostle Paul is a Bible example of how to find your destiny in God. He asked two important questions when he met the Lord Jesus on the way to Damascus in Acts 9:5: "Who are you, Lord?" and “Lord, what do you want me to do? " These are the two vital questions that we must ask in our lives in order to fulfill our destiny. God made Paul’s destiny clear, and he can do that for you. In Acts 9:6 we read “Then the Lord said to him, ‘Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.’” When God guides us and speaks, knowing our destiny we must do what Phil. 3:12 says but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me."
