BEFORE YOU SAY "I DO"

"When we pray about a situation, we have

to believe that God

is more than capable of handling it."

Does this sound familiar to anyone reading this? Well, it may not be your story, but it is so many others. You may say to yourselves, "I would have never done anything like that." Of course not, but you have done other things trying to help God help you. It is because of situations like the one I described that hinder us from witnessing the miracles God has prepared to rescue us. When we pray about a situation, we have to believe that God is more than capable of handling it. All He wants us to do is know that He can fix it, believe that He will fix it, and want Him to fix it.

“‘If you can,” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes”,

(St. Mark 9: 23).

thing because she knows that God is against this kind of arrangement. Things appear to be getting harder and harder; therefore, she allows him to move in. Initially, everything was fine, but after just a few short weeks, she finds herself compromising her values and she begins to feel guilty. Shortly afterward, she and the gentleman are no longer getting along because he now feels he owns her, and he feels responsible for her. After all, he had been paying the bills, right?

God does not want us to sin or go outside of His principles to change the situation. I understand that it can be quite tempting because oftentimes, God does not seem to be anywhere in sight. But from my short-lived years on this planet, I have witnessed that when I truly step out of the way and trust Him, He has never failed me. He does not want you to compromise and do things that will bring guilt. He wants you to trust Him and obey Him.

Begin to look at God as the God that is more than enough for your circumstances and relax! He's got it and knows exactly what to do so that in the long run, it will not bring harm or shame to you or those who are innocently involved.

I have always said that if you make poor choices, it is going to impact someone else; those who are innocent. It’s inevitable that when we go outside of God's laws, principles, commandments, whatever you choose to call them, there are consequences for bad choices, especially when all we had to do is wait on God. Know with the assurance that He is coming. If you are His child, then He is not going to forsake you. Also, know that He knows what is best for you, and He does not need your help fixing your concerns. He is forever perfecting them.

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me..." (Psalms 138:8a, NASB).
