You will find that Canterbury Village in Lake Orion is a great stop. There you will find Yates Cider Mill, Kings Court Castle, which is a restaurant, 14 specialty shops, Woodside Bible Church, Always Christmas store, Holiday events, and more on 21 acres at the Joslyn Road exit 83.
Park preserves the largest stand of old-growth white pines (49 acres) in Michigan's Lower Peninsula. With nearly 9,000 acres in which to roam, Hartwick Pines is a great destination for mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, camping, hiking, picnicking, birding, hunting, fishing, and exploring Michigan's great outdoors, off of exit 259.

Now, in Bay City, you will find the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum. Since you will be hugging the banks of the Saginaw River, stop by the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum. The crown jewel of their collection of artifacts is the USS Edson, built in 1958, off of exit 164. You will also find that Frankenmuth is right off highway exit 136 northbound and 144 southbound, which is a very nice stop with restaurants, shops, and the Bavarian Belle Riverboat. In the city of Flint, you will find Stepping Stone Falls. This beautiful man-made fall holds back the Flint River, creating the 600-acre Mott Lake. A pleasant, easy walk takes visitors to the falls and a series of overlooks. Underwater lights illuminate the falls at night.
