Bryona Williams:

Story of Trial &

Triumph!

Hello, my name is Sophia Williams, I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan, I was raised by my Italian grandmother, who taught me how to cook, clean, love, and help my community. I have four siblings, that were raised by my abusive mother who loved her men more than her children. My hobbies are spending time with my daughter, gardening, breeding dogs, and feeding the homeless. I'm self-employed, and I have an independent home, and an organization that deals with human trafficking.

My first encounter with human trafficking is when my oldest daughter Bryona Williams came up missing in March of 2003. I searched and found the people who took her. I brought them to justice. I went THROUGH HELL because the police didn't help me. They told me my black child had to be missing for 24 hours before they would look for her or put an amber alert out for her. So, I went to the streets to find my daughter.
