I know firsthand the importance of emotional wellness and how its absence will directly affect your life. I am a cancer survivor, and it has been more than ten years now since I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease. Although no one in the medical field told me this, I strongly believe that the illness was due to stress and emotional instability. Because of being in and out of toxic relationships, I harbored unforgiveness and bitterness in my heart. I had a tumor in my chest the size of a large lemon (9cm). God spoke to my heart and said, "Think it not strange that they found a tumor near your heart."
I decided to make some drastic life changes by taking control of my life from the inside out. I have discovered that there are five keys to emotional wellness, and they are the following:
1.Free Yourself from Toxic Relationships.

3. Put Yourself in a Position for Change and Healing to Take Place.
4.
5. Love the Skin You are In--- “Accept Who You are Before you Become What You Can Be.”
6. Eat Right Feel Right (You are what you eat)
7. Learn to Be Content in Your Present State.
8. Trust God with your future.
THE SPIRIT IN YOU
Remember, emotional wellness is very important and affects every area of your life. Do not take this area of your life for granted. If you are truly looking for peace of mind, joy and happiness, it must start within. If your life is emotionally unstable, please, get the help you need. You are worth it! (Isaiah 61:3)
