1. His Blood has The Power To Give Life & Avoid 2nd Death
Blood is our source of life; and you can’t survive without blood. Without the blood of Christ we are bound for what Rev. 21:8 describes: “The fearful, unbelieving, the abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire…the second death.” But the good news is:
2. His Blood Has the Power to Redeem
In John 1:29, John said "Look, the lamb of God who takes away the sin & curse of the world". What is the curse? The curse is sin, death, sickness, disease, lack, depression—anything bad you can think of. But Gal. 3:13 “Christ redeemed us from the curse—having become a curse for us (v. 14) in order that in Christ the blessing of Abraham may come to the Gentiles!” As God’s Lamb, Jesus shed His blood Heb. 9:12 says “He entered the Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption”.
3. His Blood has the Power to Transform
The blood of Jesus when applied to our lives transforms the vilest of sinners, like Saul—a murderer who tried to destroy the church, to become a new creature Paul-- chief promoter of the Church! Saul’s encounter with Jesus in the vision and the Power of Christ’s blood forever transformed “Paul into an apostle of Christ”. The thief on the cross had a similar encounter! He was transformed
from a condemned man into a saint dwelling in Paradise! God can do that for you! II Cor. 5:17 says “if any man be in Christ he is a new creature: old things are passed away; all made new.”
4. His Blood Has The Power To Heal & Protect
Whenever a virus attacks our physical body to make us sick, our blood begins to fight with all it has, attacking this virus with white blood cells. When your body suffers injury or cut, your blood does a wonderful thing to protect you from infection it forms a scab. When the enemy of your soul attacks us, the blood of Jesus covers us like a shield. That's the wonderful power of the blood of Jesus! Satan is a liar saying “you have all the time in the world” or “God won’t forgive what you’ve done”. You need to hear what Jesus said from the cross in Luke 23:34 “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing!” Jesus knew we would blow it & 2000 yrs ago made provision for us to be fully forgiven!
