THE WILL TO LIVE
The human will is a very strong, vitally essential part of our being. It also determines nearly all of our decision making processes and it directs our path to where we are headed. We must govern the kind of life we live by our choices of whether it is spiritual or natural. 1 Cor. 2:14-16 says, "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For he who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ". It is quite obvious in the scripture that the only thing that comes from our personal will is destruction and death. I must say that it seems quite unfair that we had to be born with this sinful nature that was inherited from Adam and Eve when they refused to obey God. Their disobedience caused us all to be faced with the penalty of death. Genesis 2:16-17, "And the Lord God commanded the man, saying of every tree of the garden you may freely eat but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that
you eat of it you shall surely die..."
Perhaps you are faced with some challenges and maybe some failures right now but the difference in today or tomorrow is your faith. Hope is the key that your circumstances will be turned around. You must have enough hope that manifest faith so that you can speak life and will your situation to live. Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21). You have the power to control your destiny with the authority of your tongue so choose to speak life. No one can limit your belief but you. Why would you carry burdens that you can cast upon the Lord? (1 Peter 5:7) He is the almighty God that has all power. Never place on your mind the burden that God has the solution for. If you are in a crisis right now, you can speak over that situation and cause the power of faith to defeat the fear that brings defeat. Your act of obedience will create your season of victories and the success that you are expecting. With expectation, it always causes you to come into complete alignment with the triune being that you are. God spoke to me and said that we
