Christian Marcum is a 16 years old jazz saxophonist who has been playing for about 6 years. He started off in middle school playing the alto and baritone saxophones. Christian also played second alto and baritone saxophone with the MSU Community Music School Detroit for 3 years. Between classes, he taught himself the basic drums, piano, bass, and a multiple of other instruments. He hopes the experiences he has learned along the way allows him to become a knowledgeable instructor in teaching others the love of music.
