SPIRITUALITY AND FAITH
This is the purpose of our Common Enemy. When Satan incites us to indulge in the pleasures of the world, what is his purpose? Is he concerned that we might miss out on the good things of God? No, he despises humans. His purpose is capture and control. We must never forget that when we follow him, we walk into a trap. When the Tempter comes around, it is better to have the instincts of a butterfly and fly away FREE, than a bee that enters the trapped bottle. It is so good to know the Jesus who John 10:10 says came “that we may have life and have it abundantly” can be our constant help to enjoy real life and remain truly FREE! To enjoy this FREEDOM…PRAY and make this declaration:
“Father God, forgive me for giving place in my heart to the sins of this world, the lusts of the flesh, pride, anger and addictions of life. Forgive me for giving place in my life to selfish sins, shame, fear, doubt and control. Come, Jesus Christ, FREE ME and take your rightful place in my life. I bring the blood of Christ now against the strongholds, the sins of my family line, and banish the spirits operating against my body, soul, and spirit. I utterly renounce every claim I gave Satan and break all entry points to the things of my past that have enslaved me. I receive your power to become born-again, FREE from my past, part of your eternal family and empowered by your Spirit to be all that living “IN CHRIST” is meant to be! In Jesus’ Name I claim this…Amen!”
