5. He is not alone in his activities and is urgent with his traps and addictions in this final hour. Revelation 12:3-4 tell us that when Satan was cast from heaven, he took a third of the Angels with him in his rebellion. While his end is recorded in Revelation and his time is running out…Satan is most active causing people to become partners in his sinful habits and controlling behaviors. He carries out his work through temptation. Satan tempts people to sin by exploiting their weaknesses (causing people to be addicted to alcohol, drugs, pornography, power, etc.). Throughout the Bible in places like Galatians 5:19-21 we are told the eternal danger of this action.
TO STAY FREE WE MUST ACCEPT
OUR COMMON CURE
It is possible to be SET FREE and LIVE FREE. Maybe you’ve been trapped in the consequences of choices and caught up in
a series of experiences you didn’t really want. You may feel that no one knows the bitterness, anger, and frustration that imprisons your spirit. But the good news is that JESUS does! Hebrews 2:14-15 says, “Since (we) share in flesh and blood, He (Jesus) also partook of the same, so that through death He might render ‘powerless’ him (Satan) who had the power of death…and might FREE those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.” Thank God there’s a way out, there’s a CURE! The Saving Grace and Delivering Power of God is the answer you need for I John 3:8 says “The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil”! You can experience “heart change” that sets new passions & priorities, gains deliverance over Satan, addictions and ungodly soul ties…to become a person LIVING FREE in God!
The Bible was written to tell us what is right, what is not right, how to get right, and how to stay right. If God’s intention was to inform us of what is right, what is not right, and how to get and stay right, then it’s our responsibility (with His help) to conform each area of our life to this! If we draw a line, God can keep us FREE, for John 8:36 says, “who the Son sets free shall be FREE indeed”. This reborn, pure work of God’s presence and power in us…provides new desires for good and is what God uses to mold our new Christian character.
