Anytime a believer puts on the entire armor of God they may enter a realm of spiritual warfare, however, with the strength that comes from the Holy Spirit and with the help of the body of Christ, the kingdom can be expanded for the complete glory of God. I believe that if the church as a whole worked together to encourage our siblings in Christ to be a light for God in the world, then we would accomplish more for the kingdom.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes”- Ephesians 6:10-11, ESV.

I am personally in a tricky time within my Christian walk. I am a young adult (19 years of age) and I have a number of things that I would love to do to impact the non-believing community. I have a testimony that is influential and have gained wisdom through my experiences. Through the will of God and hard work, my name as a writer has expanded. However, I have learned that it is better not to share my age when corresponding with individuals who can help my blog expand. I can easily empathize with a variety of individuals and I have been told that I am wise beyond my years and at times, new readers to Lamaleah.com do

not realize just how young I am but when they find out my age, I am taken less seriously. I have received responses such as, “You want to change the world? Oh that’s cute!” I try to surround myself with other goal oriented believers and in doing so it can be personally empowering. At times, though, the adversary tries to convince me that my purpose for this life is not valuable because of my youth, as if

I won’t become a “true believer” until I reach a certain age (I Peter 1: 13 - 16).

Selfishly when I am doing work for the Lord, I tend to compare where I am going to those whom I look up to but I don’t do it from a healthy perspective. I tend to dwell on the achievements of others without recognizing my own. Doing this is unproductive and, in a way, empowers the enemy within my own thought process. At times, I would be under spiritual
