C.S. Lewis once said, “When first things are put first, second things begin to increase! Obey the law of first fruits, for God promises that he will pour out his blessing exceedingly, abundantly, above what you can ask or imagine. David admitted in Psa. 37:25 “I have been young and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed (God’s people) begging bread.” Lack does not need to be part of the life of one who honors God first in his spiritual life, first in emotional & financial decisions, and first in his physical living habits. 2ndly:
II. THERE IS NO LIMIT TO OUR GOD AND HIS ABILITY TO HELP US LIVE IN GENEROSITY!
A. Bind the devil in the Name of Jesus and order all his forces out of your financial affairs so you can Live in Generosity! You can go from Debt to Life by the principle of POWER! Deut. 8:18 says “God has the POWER to help you make wealth”. For this reason do what Eph. 6:11 says, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes (of greed, debt & destruction) of the devil.” Matt. 18:18 Jesus promised that “Whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” By Tithing and Living in Generosity you loose “God’s abundantly beyond all you can ask or think” power as you truly make God partner & source in your finance!
B. Loose the forces of heaven into your financial affairs so you can get free of debt and be a giving force in God’s Kingdom and Live in Generosity! You can go from Debt to Life by the principle of MULTIPLICATION! By faith & generosity to God we can SOW a seed to accelerate & increase supernatural flow. The Widow’s Meal, Widow’s Oil, The Boy’s 5 Loaves & 2 Fish show the principle of multiplication of what is given to God. Each story required the person in need to GIVE first! In Luke 6:38 Jesus promised “Give & it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return”. You see… Giving to God INCREASES that Power and gets you into gaining FAVOR from God. In faith SOW a seed opening your hand to God, so He can open His hand to you in harvest!
C. There is NO LACK in God and His abundance! Jesus came to attack our lack in Acts 10:38 to “destroy the works of the devil & set the captive free.” God says Prov. 8:21 “I endow those who love me with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.” When you honor God in natural things, He favors you in supernatural things! II Cor. 9:6-8…
1. You must sow continually and bountifully to reap bountifully.
2. You must put God first in first fruits giving, realizing that God has supplied you with seed to sow.
3. You must purpose in your heart to please God who has supplied you “seed”& give expectantly in faith, not grudgingly.
When you trust God with what you have by giving first fruits offerings (as Scripture commands) God’s provision will swallow up any lack that may come against you! God in II Cor. 9: 11 promises
