restaurants galore, Christmas shopping, ice skating, Christmas dinner cruises, but many people go to New York City, just to experience Christmas shows mainly this time of the year, and see all the decorations.
Now, over at Radio City Musical Hall for instance is the famous Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. This 90-minute show features more than 140 performers and an original musical score, and combines singing, dancing, and humor with traditional scenes. The star performers are the women’s precision dance troupe the “Rockettes.”

Years ago, I was in New York City in 1971 as a very young news carrier for the Detroit News. I was one of 3 carriers to win this free 3-day, 2-night contest in a station of 39 carriers. While there, I seen the Empire State building, Time Square, Statue of Liberty, Twin Towers of 9-11, 5th Avenue, as well as many other attractions too numerous to list.
In this article I will share all the hot spots for Christmas related attractions here. This place really comes alive at Christmas time in this very large busy city, which was very fascinating for me to check out as a very young teen.
Anyway, New York is an epicenter of entertainment and surely does not disappoint during the holiday season. There are festive Christmas shows in New York that are worth visiting,
