seed and give expectantly in faith, not grudgingly.
When you trust God with what you have by giving first fruits offerings (as Scripture commands) God’s provision will swallow up any lack that may come against you! God in II Cor. 9:11 promises “You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.” So…
II.RELEASE POTENTIALFORMIRACLES BY THE POWER OF GOD’S WORD
A.ATTENTIVENESS to God’s Word gives you power to Attack Lack! Life is filled with greed, lust and fleshly temptation seeking to rob your potential in God. It's why Prov. 4:20 (turn there) says “Give attention to my words”…v. 21 “Do not let them depart from your sight; keep them in the midst of your heart.” Why? God knows His Word gives you power to Attack Lack! So focus on it! In defeating Satan, Jesus took the keys Satan was relying on to defeat us and says in Matt. 16:19 “I give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and what you bind on earth, shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth, shall have been loosed in heaven.” This is because:
B.APPLICATION of God’s Word will meet every demand placed on you in life! Turn to Prov. 4:22-23 and underline it! God’s Words “are life to those who find them and health to all their flesh”. These Words are full provision for all you need! God is here trying to position you to where these Words can lift you above your problems and calls us v. 23 to “Watch over our heart with all diligence, for from it flows the springs of life”. If you’ll get hold of your emotions and passions, and let God’s Word work in your
choicest silver!” We are not to fear lack for our God (Gen. 22) is Jehovah Jireh—Our Provider! When we create a atmosphere of trust and faith, there is NO limit to what God can do in providing “favor…in the sight of God and man”. King David admitted in Psa. 37:25 “I have been young and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor His seed (God’s people) begging bread.” But if you ignore the law of first fruits, and rob God, God says your lack will never end. So trust God and see that lack doesn’t need to be part of the life of one who honors God first in his spiritual life, first in emotional and financial decisions, and first in his physical living/eating habits. That’s because …
B.There is NO LACK in God and His abundance! God says in Prov. 8:21 “I endow those who love me with wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.” Be a giving partner with God like Paul blessed the Philippians for financial giving to the need in Macedonia and Thessalonica church, saying in Phil. 4:19 “My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”! Needs met are characteristics of God! When you honor God in natural things, He favors you in supernatural things! Turn to II Cor. 9:6-8 and you will see several things to do to break any lack…
1. You must sow continually and bountifully to reap bountifully.
2. You must put God first in first fruits giving, realizing that God has supplied you with seed to sow.
3. You must purpose in your heart to please God who has supplied you the
